(KSL News) A Kearns man who pleaded guilty to sexually molesting three of his adopted children was sentenced to nine years to life in prison.

Richard Hill was originally charged with 21 felonies for abusing a girl and two boys, all under the age of 11, over a two-year period beginning in January 2006.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Hill pleaded guilty to attempted sodomy on a child, attempted object rape of a child and aggravated sexual abuse of a child. The judge ordered the three counts to run consecutively.
