Lori Prichard reportingThe man accused of killing his wife in a Lehi church parking lot could be planning to get married again.

David Ragsdale sits in the Utah County Jail charged with aggravated murder for killing his wife, Kristy, in January. Now three different sources independently confirm that David Ragsdale has proposed to a woman sources describe to us as his girlfriend. Each of those sources say that she said yes. That woman talked to us late tonight and adamantly denies it.

It's been no secret that David Ragsdale was having an affair before he allegedly shot his wife to death. In a March 12 interview, Kristy Ragsdale's mother, Ann Palizzi, described how Kristy reacted after finding out that a woman was staying at her house while Kristy was out of town.

"She drove back to Utah and changed the locks on the doors and took the money out of the bank account to pay the bills and found an attorney," Palizzi said.

According to a co-worker who didn't want to be identified, the two met at InvesTools. And Utah County Jail officials confirm the woman visits David Ragsdale in jail.

Earlier this month David Ragsdale issued a statement, through his sister, about Kristy's death. It read: "Words cannot describe how incredibly sorry I am for the death of my wife Kristy."

At that time, Kristy's mother didn't believe he was sorry. "I think he's in such denial himself, he's not taking responsibility for what he's done," she said.

We spoke tonight with the woman sources tell us is the girlfriend. She admits she visits Ragsdale in jail and has attended his court appearances, but she adamantly denies being engaged to Ragsdale. She tells us she has a boyfriend, and it is not David Ragsdale.

But again, three independent sources tell us they believe marriage plans were discussed by the two. Even if they were, Utah County Jail officials say their policy doesn't allow for marriage in jail.
