TAYLORSVILLE — A woman was arrested Thursday after police found a large quantity of drugs during an early-morning drug bust.
The bust occurred at the Meadowbrook Condominium Village near 4300 S. and 1200 West. A SWAT team used a flash bang to force their way into a garage door around 2:30 a.m. Inside, police found more than just illegal drugs.
“When detectives went in to search the home, they located drug paraphernalia," said Lt. Justin Hoyal from the Unified Police Department. "They found bath salts, some meth and heroin, along with forged and fraudulent documents."
Kristen Peck, 31, was arrested on several drug charges, including a third degree felony drug warrant. Two other people were questioned but eventually let go.
SWAT was asked to serve the warrant for this case because officers suspected guns were in the house, Hoyal said.
Police did not find any guns during their search.
