(KSL News) A bill that would keep Utah children strapped in car seats until they're 8 years old passed the House.
The bill would increase the mandatory age for car seats, which now is 5 years old. Only children 4 feet 9 inches tall or taller would be exempt.
The bill now goes to the Senate.
