DAVIS COUNTY — Miracle quadruplets were born to a Davis County family a year ago, and the family said the babies are still healthy and that their personalities are beginning to show.
Anthony and Natalie Consolo's family grew from three to seven when the quadruplets were born. Anthony and Natalie already had a 1-year-old daughter, Dorothy, and they were hoping for a second child when they conceived the quadruplets naturally.
Daniel, Annabelle, Charlotte and Lucille were born on Feb. 25, 2012, just one day short of 33 weeks gestation.
The Consolos have adjusted to life with five children under the age of 3, although they don't mince words when describing their hectic lifestyle.
"I think the last year has been, for the most part, a good recipe of chaotic, sleep-deprived and very interesting," Anthony said.
Natalie said that she would describe their past year as "chaotic" as well, and that accomplishing tasks were very difficult while taking care of five small children.

"So I'm getting in about three naps in a day. Once they stop napping, I don't know what I'm going to do."
The couple receive help from people occasionally, but they said they mostly depend on each other physically, emotionally and spiritually to take care of things.
"I'll come home and the house will be clean and the dishes will be done," Anthony said. "And the babies will be fed."
Natalie said that Anthony helps out with the quadruplets whenever he is home from work.
"I see him coming home from work after working 16-hour days, and then he dives right into babies," she said.
The couple agree that amid all the chaos, the year has flown by and their kids are growing up fast.
"It was hard to believe it went by that fast and we actually did it," Natalie said.
