OREM — Three men were arrested Sunday after assaulting an Orem man in a home invasion.

The victim, 20, was woken up by three men inside his home just before 5 a.m. Sunday. All three men were wearing masks, with one of them armed with a handgun and another armed with a baseball bat.

The victim said he recognized the voice of one of the men, Mitchell Ramirez, 20, when they came into his bedroom and demanded money and drugs. The victim addressed the men, saying he knew one of the men was Ramirez, which prompted the man with a bat to hit the victim across the arm.

The victim said Ramirez was holding the gun and hit him in the face with his fist before the men took him to another bedroom and put him in the closet. The men then left and stole some items from the home.

Detectives with the Orem Police Department were watching Ramirez's home when they saw a truck pull up around 7 a.m., with Ramirez and the two other men, Ryan Marsh, 20, and Kyle Anderson, 21, inside. All three men were arrested and the stolen items were returned to the victim.

Ramirez, Marsh and Anderson were booked into the Utah County Jail for aggravated burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and aggravated robbery.
