SANDY -- A photographer bought a vintage camera at Deseret Industries and found someone's priceless family snapshots inside. Now she needs your help finding who the pictures belong to.

Taisley Weston made a great find at the Sandy Deseret Industries, a vintage Kodak Signet 35 from the 1950s in perfect condition. When she opened its bag, she discovered she had bought much more than she planned on.

"I opened the bag and amidst all the awesome things like a light meter, there were all these undeveloped slides and undeveloped film," she said.

She couldn't help but think all those slides and film belonged to someone.

"Somebody didn't get rid of these on purpose. I think it was an accident," she said.

When she looked closer she could see the slides contained special family snapshots. She had the film developed and discovered the images contain shots of a new baby, a couple, family members surrounding a man in uniform, and shots from a wedding.

Mystery solved ...
The owner of the camera was found, and it is a touching story. See KSL's coverage here.

There was a clue handwritten on the inside of the camera case, the name Verl T. Jacob, along with an address. However, the address leads to what is now a construction site, not Verl T. Jacob's home.

There's another roll of color slide film inside the bag, which Weston has not had developed because it can only be done by a shop in Colorado.
