Randall Jeppesen, KSL NewsradioThe City of Eagle Mountain will be happy for every drop of rain they can get, as a ban on outside watering remains in place.
Sheri Anderson loves her lawn, as she says it's her thing, but for now there are a few dry patches. A city well stopped working last Friday, so to make sure people have water inside, there's no watering outside.
City Administrator John Hendrickson says the city is not out of water. He says the well experienced a mechanical breakdown. Hendrickson says, "We just have to fix that, and it could take anywhere from one-and-half to four weeks."
Hendrickson says on Wednesday morning they plan on modifying their water restrictions.
