SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah indie rock band Fictionist

[We introduced you to Fictionist last month](http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=14429443) as they became one of 16 bands fighting for the honor in Rolling Stone's online competition, "Do You Wanna Be a Rock Star?" Wednesday that field was cut in half and the Provo group is still in the hunt. The contest is decided mainly by online votes at [Rollingstone.com](http://www.rollingstone.com/choosethecover#artists). You can go there now and cast your vote for Fictionist. The final two bands standing will square off head-to-head at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee in June. The winning band will make it on the cover of the Aug. 19 issue of Rolling Stone, on newsstands Aug. 5.
