(KSL News) Investigators are looking into a fast-moving fire at a mobile home park in Cottonwood Heights. They say it could be the work of an arsonist.

The early-morning fire engulfed a trailer at the Meadows Mobile Home Park at 7775 S. 1780 East, and destroyed almost everything in it.

Only two other trailers were damaged, as well. Firefighters say that's amazing, considering how quickly the fire spread and the troubles they faced.

Capt. Steve Judkins of the Unified Fire Authority explained, "We encountered some problems right off the bat. The water supply to the entire mobile home park had been shut off without our knowledge."

Firefighters train for situations like that, and say it didn't hamper their efforts, just delayed them. They got water from a hydrant outside the park.

Firefighters also encountered a gas leak. They had to wait for the gas to burn off before Questar could shut it off.

No one was in the trailer. A developer bought the land, and all of the residents were forced to move out last week.
