LOS ANGELES (AP) — Danny Granger has owned an offseason home in Los Angeles for seven years, so the longtime Indiana Pacers star already knows his way around town.

Granger thinks he'll also fit right in with the Clippers for their playoff chase.

The veteran scorer planned to be in uniform when Los Angeles hosted the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night, but a paperwork mix-up delayed his debut for a couple of days. Granger went through warmups at Staples Center before being informed he had been inadvertently left off the active roster.

While Clippers coach Doc Rivers considers whether to put his new addition into the starting lineup soon, Granger is eager to contribute to his first new team after spending 8½ seasons in Indiana.
