WAHSATCH, Summit County — One person was killed in a double-semitruck collision on I-80 in Summit County on Wednesday.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden said a semitruck with a box trailer was traveling slowly up a hill on I-80 near the town of Wahsatch, located roughly 6 miles from the Utah-Wyoming state line, when it was rear-ended by a different semitruck that was pulling double trailers.
The driver of the rear semitruck sustained fatal injuries, Roden said.
Further details about the crash were not immediately available.
