RIVERTON — A 23-year-old woman died and two men were injured after their vehicle rolled on Bangerter Highway on Saturday morning, Riverton Police Chief Don Hutson said.

Police responded to the single-vehicle rollover about 4 a.m. on Saturday near 13400 South on Bangerter Highway, Hutson said. The 23-year-old woman was a passenger in the backseat and died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Two men were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, according to police. It has not yet been determined which of the men was the driver and which was the front seat passenger, Hutson said.

The Riverton Major Accident Team, Herriman and South Jordan police departments are currently investigating the crash.

The identities of those involved were not released.
