CEDAR CITY — Officials announced that a 13-year old girl from Cedar City has been found safe and reunited with her family.

The Cedar City Police Department made the announcement Sunday morning, hours after asking for the public's help to find Ali Halladay. She had been missing since 8 p.m. Saturday night.

After announcing that the 13-year-old had been missing, police had posted a Facebook request asking for volunteers to meet at Canyon View High School to assist in the search.

No more details were given about how Halladay was located.
