OGDEN — We all know that one person whose laugh is better than the joke being told.

Laughs are distinctive, person-to-person, and some even become a defining personality trait. My grandmother, who passed away a few years ago, had a high-pitched cackle that was synonymous with her sense of humor. My mom has an almost reverse laugh where she sucks in more air than she lets out, and it’s very unique to her.

Having a matchless laugh is certainly true for 1-year-old Lauren of Ogden; whose bath time giggles in a video uploaded by her parents to YouTube have us in stitches.

“Our daughter Lauren’s favorite part of the day is bath time,” her dad, Ben, said. “I squirted her with one of her squeaky toys and she let out the hardest laugh I’d ever heard from a baby. Naturally, I continued to do it and her laugh only got harder.”

According to dad, the noise was so loud that mom, Jessica, wasn’t sure if it was a laugh or a cry and came from the other side of the house to investigate. Soon, the whole family was rolling with laughter and grabbed video of Lauren’s crack up.

“Lauren is the happiest baby and always laughs at the simplest things,” Ben said. “I hope she keeps that sense of humor her whole life.”
