SALT LAKE CITY — The beauty and mystery of West Africa will rise on the big screen this spring.
"Freetown" follows the story of eight Latter-day Saint missionaries serving in Liberia in the early 1990s. Suddenly, they become trapped in a civil war.
Joining forces for this film, the director of " The Saratov Approach" and the producer of " Saints and Soldiers.”
The filmmakers believe it's quite the story, showcasing faith and courage as people follow inspiration in the face of life-threatening danger.
