(KSL News) Your gas bill could soon be going up.
A new proposal would shift $1.7 million in costs to 830,000 Utah customers. That's a monthly rate increase of 19 cents per household. The addition charge will help Questar extend gas lines to rural areas.
Some law makers don't like the idea that a majority of customers will cover costs for the minority. They also say Questar should be able to pinpoint its exact cost of extending gas lines.
