Samantha Hayes reportingThe University of Utah professor arrested for having child pornography, appeared in court today.

Dr. William Zwiebel worked as a professor of Radiology. The FBI discovered several hundred pornographic pictures and videos of underage children on his computer.

On Doctor William Zweibel's resume, there is an impressive list of accomplishments. A life of hard work made him world-renown in his field.

But the face that once commanded respect, now looks much different to those who know him.

Dr. Tim Sherry, Radiologist: I did my residency up at the university for the last five years I was his resident. There were about 20 of us up there and I worked alongside him on a daily basis at times."

Doctor Tim Sherry and others in the Radiology department at the University of Utah knew him as Doctor Z.

Dr. Tim Sherry, Radiologist: "He was king of a go-to person for ultrasound. Especially vascular. World famous. Written textbooks..that type of thing."

Zweibel is accused of having child pornography-found on his computer at work.

Chris Nelson, University of Health Services: "The I.T. person found something that looks suspicious, investigated and passed it along to authorities."

Dr. Tim Sherry, Radiologist: "In radiology we work with computers all day. Multiple computers. Many seminars, meetings, and many lectures we have making it very clear what we are allowed and not allowed to do."

Zwiebel was placed on administrative leave. He then resigned from the U. If convicted he faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
