OGDEN — Police are monitoring an Ogden neighborhood more closely after someone fired gunshots into the air early Saturday morning, officials report.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired near 25th Street and Lincoln Avenue about 2 a.m., according to a tweet from the Ogden Police Department.

A dark-colored SUV with an unknown number of occupants stopped at the intersection and someone inside fired multiple shots from a handgun into the air, officials said.
