TOOELE CITY — A 19-year-old man was critically injured in a rollover accident that caused him to be ejected from the car he was in Sunday morning.

Shortly after 10 a.m., a Ford Escape was traveling west on 400 North when the car rolled over at the street's intersection with 7th Street, according to Tooele Police Sgt. Chris Thompson.

The man was ejected from the Ford and later flown by medical helicopter to a Salt Lake area hospital in critical condition, Thompson said.

Information about what caused the car to roll over and whether there were any other occupants in the vehicle was not immediately available.
