SALT LAKE CITY — If you’re looking to skip the hassle and mess of cooking a Thanksgiving dinner, several restaurants around the Wasatch Front have got you covered.
While many national chain restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day, here’s a roundup of several locally owned restaurants that will be serving seasonal favorites. Most of these restaurants are filling up tables fast for Thanksgiving, so calling ahead to make a reservation is recommended.
Bambara
This restaurant in Salt Lake City is offering a “gourmet buffet” on Thanksgiving, featuring traditional Thanksgiving fare such as turkey, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. They’ll also be offering a seafood display with fish, crab legs and shellfish.
The buffet will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Prices are $75 for adults and $65 for adults age 65 and over. Kids ages 6-12 are $35 and kids age 5 and younger are free.

This family-style dining restaurant is serving a menu of Thanksgiving food favorites as well as their regular Italian classics menu.
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at both locations in the area, one in Salt Lake City and one in Midvale.

Caffe Niche specializes in local ingredients, and the restaurant is offering a prix fixe menu from 1-7 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The cost is $40 per person.
The menu features three courses, including a fall salad, a classic turkey dinner and other choices. For dessert, don’t miss Cafe Niche’s homemade Ding Dongs, their take on the classic Hostess treats.

Finca
Known for its Spanish tapas, Finca will provide an elaborate buffet spread on Thanksgiving Day. The special menu will feature a carving table with turkey and ham, as well as artisan cheeses, salads and other fall vegetables.
The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Prices for the buffet are $45 for adults and $22.50 for kids.

Franck’s Restaurant
Francks is offering a four-course Thanksgiving menu featuring beefed-up versions of seasonal favorites. Choose from olive-oil basted grouper, brown butter pine nuts, seven-day brined turkey steaks and more.
The restaurant is open from 12-6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Prices for the dinner are $60 for adults and $30 for kids.

Hub and Spoke Diner
This brunch spot is serving up lighter breakfast entrees, as well as traditional turkey and ham dinners. A kids menu offers mac and cheese and flapjacks.
The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Prices for menu items range from $4 to $17.

Little America
Thanksgiving at the Grand America is already fully booked, but there is still some space available at the hotel’s little sibling. The Little America will be serving a buffet in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices are $57 for adults and $27 for kids.
The Lucky H Bar and Grille also will be serving Thanksgiving fare from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. Prices start at $31. The Little America Coffee Shop will also be open from 11 a.m to 10 p.m. to serve Thanksgiving Day guests. Prices start at $27 for adults and $15 for kids.

Log Haven in Millcreek Canyon will be open from 1-5:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Diners at the restaurant’s four-course luncheon can choose from fall-themed soups and salads, as well as turkey, salmon and butternut squash.

No Name Saloon
If you’re looking to save money this Thanksgiving, check out No Name Saloon’s free Thanksgiving Day buffet in Park City. Get there early, though — the restaurant will start serving food at 2 p.m. until it’s all gone. Since it’s at a bar, you must be 21 or older to take part in this buffet.

Oregano Italian Kitchen
One of the few locally owned restaurants open for Thanksgiving in Utah County, Oregano Italian Kitchen will be serving Italian dishes and traditional Thanksgiving food. The restaurant promises a “ridiculously delicious” dinner including turkey, prime rib, roasted pumpkin soup and more.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Prices are $26 for adults and $12 for kids.

Tucanos
This Brazilian restaurant specializes in grilled meats, which will be served Thursday alongside other traditional Thanksgiving dishes, including turkey, yams and cranberry sauce. Prices are $30 for adults and $12 for kids ages 7-12. Kids 7 and under eat free. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at both Utah locations, in Salt Lake City and Orem.
