Previous Story:

SALT LAKE CITY — Police in Nevada have issued an Amber Alert for three children taken by their non-custodial parents and believed to be headed through Utah.

The alert was issued Saturday evening after authorities say April Rendina, 24, and Andrew Ancell, 32, took Star Lynn Rendina, 4, Naomi Rendina, 3 and Trevor Ancell, 1, without proper permission.

Few details are available, but the alert says the party is "believed to be headed to West Virginia from Reno, driving a 2005 black Ford Focus."

Nevada authorities described April Rendina as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Andrew Ancell is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, authorities said. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rendina, Ancell or the children is asked to call 755-687-0400.
