MILLCREEK — Crews responded to a fire at 735 E. Scott Court late Monday afternoon.

Unified fire crews responded to a call of a carport catching fire. The fire engulfed part of the house. No injuries were reported and fire officials said no other buildings around the house were damaged. Unified fire said a family cat was missing.

Both directions of 3300 South from 700 E. to 800 E. were temporarily closed due to the fire. Salt Lake City Fire Department crews assisted Unified fire with the blaze.

About 80 firefighters responded to the fire. Authorities said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
