WEBER CITY — Authorities have reopened Ogden Canyon after a hazmat spill closed the roadway Wednesday morning, according to the Weber Fire District.
Approximately five gallons of a diesel fuel additive spilled on the roadway around 10 a.m. Crews responded to assess the situation, but the cause of the spill was not immediately released and any injuries are still unknown.
The substance did not enter the Ogden River and there have been no evacuations at this time. The roadway reopened an hour later, according to authorities.
More information will be released as it is received.
