SALT LAKE CITY — A woman run over by a Union Pacific train early Thursday had an arm and a leg severed but is expected to survive, according to Salt Lake police.
Just after 3:30 a.m., a woman who was "lying" on the tracks at 50 South and 600 West was run over by a train, police said.
The incident is being investigated by Union Pacific.
