EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Television survival superstar Bear Grylls took to Twitter Thursday to post the video of a singing duo performing an original song titled, “I’m Your Huckleberry.” “Ah so wonderful! And so talented. Who are they!? …" wrote Grylls.

This talented duo is none other than siblings Tyler Hill and Andrea Porter of Eagle Mountain.

Hill was first notified of the tweet when he logged onto his YouTube account to check the traffic on his channel. He noticed a significant jump in traffic that he tracked back to Grylls’ tweet.

Immediately after reading the post, Hill took to Facebook.

Porter had a slightly different response.

“It was fun to see Bear sharing our music,” she said. “It is something we love doing together.”

While Thursday marked the duo's first mention by a celebrity, the siblings aren't new to the music entertainment business.

Hill, who is a father of four, and Porter, who is a mother of five, learned to love music as the children a middle school band teacher. And while they have found ways individually to share that love for music, including Hill’s five-year stint as a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, they have always enjoyed singing together.

“We are a brother and sister duo who have always been the best of friends and we love making music together,” Porter said. “We've worked the same jobs, we ran our first marathon together, and we made it a priority to live next door to each other so our kids could grow up together. We even served in the same LDS mission.” (The siblings were both called to serve in Nebraska. Hill left six months before Porter was called, so the two were able to return home together on the same flight.)

It was only natural that when Hill created a recording studio in his basement, that the two would team up to record music together.

According to the duo, they call themselves “The Pepper Tree Market” after a favorite corner grocery store they would ride to as kids.

"(The name) reminds us of being kids. We would often walk a half mile to The Pepper Tree to buy Now & Laters and Tootsie Pops, hoping that we'd find the star in the wrapper and get a free one," Porter said. "Now we take turns writing songs and when we're trying to record we'll often end up in tears because we are laughing so hard."

Hill and Porter are taking their newfound notoriety all in stride and say they will keep making music because it’s what they love to do.

You can find more music by “The Pepper Tree Market” on their YouTube channel.
