ROBOT LAND — How many drones does it take to replace a lightbulb? Apparently two.

The thought of relaxing on the couch while your remote control drone does mundane household tasks is pretty appealing, in theory. We already love Roombas, if only because they make great DJs. But is it a realistic hope that we might be able to use drones to do everyday things like replace our lightbulbs?

Yesterday's Have You Seen This?

The answer, as seen in this video, is that it requires a pretty skilled drone pilot. YouTube channel Marek Baczynski tests out this idea with a drone that attempts to unscrew an old lightbulb and replace it with a new one.

According to the video description, it took two drones and about nine lightbulbs to make this work. As you watch the drone drop several lightbulbs, bump into the light fixture and crash down onto the floor multiple times, you'll start to wonder if this is a futuristic dream we'll never achieve. But keep watching until the end of the video — you'll realize we are already living in the future.
