NORTH SALT LAKE — A section of Redwood Road is closed after a dump truck crashed into power lines Saturday morning, police said.

According to North Salt Lake police and South Davis Metro Fire officials, crews responded to a report of the crash on Redwood Road near Northpointe Drive shortly after 11 a.m.

Officials said no one was injured in the crash, but the crash started two grass fires and one car fire. Power was out in the area of the crash, though it was not immediately known how many were affected by the outage.

Rocky Mountain Power officials arrived at the scene, according to police.

A stretch of Redwood Road between Center Street and I-215 remained closed while crews clean up the scene, police said. The road reopened hours later.
