OGDEN — For the first time since Drum Corps International was founded in 1972, Utah has its own competitive team.

"The Battalion" has been training hard, preparing to tour and compete across the country this summer.

"The Battalion" will perform Thursday in Corps Encore, at the Weber State stadium. They will go head-to-head against several big name teams from around the country.
