SALT LAKE CITY — A man died Saturday afternoon after setting himself on fire at Flying J, officials said.

Crews extinguished the fire at 2025 S. 900 West shortly before 4 p.m. Officials believe the person inside the vehicle died by suicide, according to the Salt Lake City Fire Department.

Salt Lake police Lt. Michael Hatch said the incident did not spur any evacuations. The investigation is ongoing.
