YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — A wildfire burning in the central part of Yellowstone National Park continues to grow and has burned about 2 square miles.

However, since the fire isn't threatening any park buildings or putting visitors at risk, fire managers are letting it burn.

The fire about 10 miles west of Fishing Bridge.

The fire was started by lightning on Wednesday.

It is the biggest of two fires burning in Yellowstone. The second is burning on a peninsula at the south end of Yellowstone Lake and has burned 16 acres.

The fire danger in Yellowstone National Park is currently rated "high."
