PAROWAN — Police have identified a man killed in an I-15 rollover Tuesday near Parowan.

Gary Gregg Prutch, 67, of Centennial, Colorado, was killed after rolling his 2005 GMC Envoy about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Prutch died before troopers arrived at the crash, the Utah Highway Patrol reported. It's likely Prutch either fell asleep or was distracted, and speed may have also contributed to the crash, according to police.

Prutch reportedly overcorrected twice after veering from the roadway, causing the Envoy to roll multiple times.

A passenger in the Envoy was treated at St. George Hospital for a leg injury.
