KEARNS — A couple threatened a man with a gun after accusing him of stealing their property while on vacation, according to police.

Alan Lund and his wife Danielle Lund went to the man's house near 4175 South and Old Oxford Road in Kearns on Thursday at about 2 a.m., according to the Unified Police Department. Investigators said the couple rushed into the man's home when he opened the door.

Once inside, Alan Lund pushed the man to the ground and proceeded to assault him multiple times, according to a probable cause statement. The man, who told police that he struggled to breathe during the encounter, had bruising on his neck and face.

"While he was being held down, Danielle ran upstairs. They were both yelling, 'We know you have it and we know you took it,'" the probable cause statement reads. "(The man) was able to get up and was standing near the back door when Danielle came downstairs and held a black gun to (the man's) head."

The couple left a short time later. The man knows the Lunds — although police did not specify what their relationship is — so investigators found the couple at their home in West Valley.

Police obtained a search warrant for the couple's trailer home and found distribution amounts of marijuana, cocaine, acid and mushrooms, according to UPD. Both of the Lunds were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, plus potential drug related charges, and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail.
