MIDVALE — Police are looking for a man who robbed Utah First Credit Union on Monday afternoon and another who drove the getaway vehicle.

Brok Arlin Rice, 32, allegedly entered the credit union at 6935 S. 900 East at about 1 p.m. and demanded money from the teller, who complied, Unified Police public information officer Jared Richardson reported in a press release.

Rice fled from the bank in a Budget Rental truck with an undisclosed amount of money. He did not threaten or brandish any weapons, Richardson said.

A witness who saw Rice get into the truck followed him to the area of 6100 South and 25 West, where he and the getaway driver, Jason Naisbitt, 41, were seen going into a nearby home, Richardson said.

Police then set up a containment around the neighborhood and cleared the home. Rice had gone before the police officers could secure the home.

Police thoroughly searched the area but did not find Rice. The case is still under investigation.

Rice and Naisbitt abandoned the Budget Rental truck after going into the home. Police believe they are now driving a black primer-colored Chevy truck with a Utah license plate number F423Y.

Rice is described as a Caucasian between 20 and 30 years old. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a black and red baseball hat, black pants, a black bandanna, black gloves and a black backpack.

Apart from the baseball cap and backpack, the clothing he was wearing has been recovered.

Naisbitt has a heavy build and was wearing shorts but not a shirt.

Rice has a previous criminal history, according to court documents.

If you have any relevant information about this case, call the Unified Police Department at 385-468-9818.
