BOX ELDER COUNTY — A fourth inmate has been captured after he and three others walked away from a work release on July 2.

The four inmates failed to return to the Box Elder County Jail after their court-ordered work release, according to the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Department. The inmates were identified as David Corbett, 22; Joel Myers, 27; James Dial, 30; and 25-year-old Jessica Myers.

Corbett was found and captured Monday morning, and Jessica and Joel Myers were captured Tuesday. The sheriff’s department credited the involvement of the community for helping it quickly locate and capture the inmates.

Dial was located and taken into custody in Ogden Wednesday morning. The sheriff’s department said the male inmates had all previously walked away from a work release in the past two months.

“The Box Elder County Sheriff's Department expresses its thanks to all those (who) assisted in capturing these four fugitives,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement.
