CEDAR CITY — The Utah Shakespeare Festival opened for the season with six plays in repertoire.
The Adams Memorial Shakespearean Theatre is featuring three plays by William Shakespeare that will run from June to August: "Henry IV, Part Two," "King Lear," and "The Taming of the Shrew." The Randall L. Jones Theatre will feature "South Pacific," "Amadeus," and "Charley's Aunt."
This is the final season to enjoy a night in the historic and iconic Adams Memorial Shakespearean Theatre because construction on the new Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre is in full swing and will be home to future Shakespeare productions beginning next year.
