RIVERTON — One person is in serious condition following a collision between a truck and a bicycle in Riverton Tuesday night, police said.
At about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, a truck hit a bicycle near the 14600 S on-ramp for I-15 in Riverton, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce. The incident took place in a construction zone, Royce said.
A male in his 40s is in serious but not life-threatening condition following the crash and is being transported to Intermountain Medical Center, according to Royce. The man was conscious and breathing.
The northbound on-ramp at 14600 S. has been shut down as a result of the incident, Royce said. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
