SPRINGVILLE — Police were searching Sunday for a man who allegedly stabbed another man during an argument.

Witnesses told police that the 22-year-old victim was arguing at a neighbor's home about 6 p.m. when another man who does not live at the house inserted himself into the argument, according to Springville Police Lt. Dave Caron.

At one point, the man pulled out a knife as if he were going to use it in a fight. The owner of the house told everyone to leave. As the victim walked away, the man with the knife followed him and stabbed him on the left side just under the rib cage, Caron said.

The victim ran to another neighbor's house and called 911. He was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, but police did not know his condition.

Police are looking for 22-year-old Jordan Willey Wood, also known as "Montel Showtime," Caron said.
