SALT LAKE CITY — Police are asking for help to identify a man who is wanted for questioning in relation to the fatal shooting of a homeless man.

Two images of the man wanted for questioning were released by the Salt Lake City Police Department Thursday. Police want to interview the man as part of the ongoing investigation into the death of 36-year-old Anthony Paul Hernandez, whose body was found along the Jordan River Parkway Tail June 1.

If anyone has information about the identity or location of the man, or of Hernandez’s whereabouts prior to his death, they can contact Salt Lake City police by calling 801-799-3000 or texting 274637, with the keyword TIPSLCPD followed by any relevant information. The case reference is #15-96781.
