PENROSE, Box Elder County — Penrose resident Brandon L. Rose died after his motorcycle tipped and his head struck the front right tire of a Chrysler minivan Thursday.
The minivan was heading southbound on state Route 102 about 3:35 p.m. when the driver slowed the vehicle to make a left turn.
Rose, 35, was heading northbound and attempted to brake, but his motorcycle tipped onto its side, police said.
Rose was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe head trauma when his head hit the minivan's wheel, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
