Check back to see where local athletes will play at the next level.SALT LAKE CITY — The 2015 NFL draft wrapped up Saturday, concluding a three-day event for prospective athletes to test their talents at the professional level.

The state of Utah saw four local athletes earn the privilege of being drafted to an NFL team in hopes of continuing on with their football careers, all coming from the University of Utah. Soon after the conclusion of the draft, several local prospects signed free agency contracts with NFL teams.

BYU ----

Alani Fua was rated the most-draftable player in BYU's senior class, but the linebacker fell from projected late-round selection to undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals. In the Cards, Fua has the chance to catch on with a highly regard defense in the NFC West, and he'll put his 4.73-second 40-yard dash time to good use. Fua was the top in his group in the 3-cone drill (6.83 seconds), 20-yard shuttle run (4.15) and 60-yard shuttle (11.54) at the combine. Lasike also signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cardinals after receiving mini-camp offers from the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints, according to reports.

Utah

The Utes had four players drafted Friday, with cornerback Eric Rowe selected No. 47 overall (second round) to the Philadelphia Eagles, defensive end Nate Orchard selected No. 51 overall (second round) to the Cleveland Browns, offensive lineman Jeremiah Poutasi selected No. 66 overall (third round) to the Tennessee Titans, and wide receiver Kaelin Clay selected No. 184 overall (sixth round) to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The four players drafted this year is the most since the 2010 draft where Utah saw six players drafted: Koa Misi (No. 40), Zane Beadles (No. 45), Robert Johnson (No. 148), David Reed (No. 156), Stevenson Sylvester (No. 166), and R.J. Stanford (No. 223).

Utah State

Though no Aggies were selected in the draft, Zach Vigil led the way as an undrafted free agent by agreeing to terms with the Miami Dolphins on Saturday. Senior safety Brian Suite will join former in-state rivals Kyle Van Noy and Ziggy Ansah with the Detroit Lions, and defensive lineman B.J. Larsen agreed in principle to sign with the Buffalo Bills.
