OGDEN — A Layton man was killed in a crash Monday night in Ogden.

Joshua Johnson, 27, died at the scene after colliding with a Jeep Cherokee in the intersection of 42nd Street and Harrison Boulevard about 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Johnson was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police said.

Johnson was driving south on Harrison Boulevard and the 48-year-old woman driving the Cherokee was turning left from northbound Harrison onto westbound 42nd Street when the vehicles collided, according to Ogden police.

The woman, who was the only occupant of the Cherokee, was not injured. She was not cited for the crash.
