SALT LAKE CITY — Police are asking the public to help them identify the man who robbed a Zions Bank Monday evening.
Police said the man entered the Zions Bank at 1304 S. Foothill Dr. around 5 p.m. He demanded cash from a teller and said he had an explosive device, although there was no evidence of that, police said.
The teller complied, and the robber fled southbound into the Foothill Village Shopping Center parking lot.
The robber is described as a male Caucasian, approximately 30 years old, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was seen in the photo unshaven, dressed in all black and wearing a black baseball cap with a Jazz logo on it.
Anyone with information should call police at 801-799-3000.
