SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake police department is looking for help from the public in locating two men in connection with burglaries at liquor stores.

The men, who police believe are probably either in their late teens or early 20s, were caught on camera in the two burglaries that occurred nearly two weeks apart. According to the police the first burglary happened on March 14 at 3 a.m. The second April 3 at 1:27 a.m.. Police have identified the location of at least one of the burglaries as 402 E. 6th Avenue in Salt Lake City.

According to police, in each instance one man would carry a backpack and the other would break the window. The two would then take bottles from the top shelf through the window and put them into the backpack.

In the most recent incident, both wore matching sweatpants with green lettering down the left leg as seen in a surveillance video.

Anyone who has information on the two men or anything in connection with the burglaries is asked to contact the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000. There is also an option to text information and remain anonymous. Text the keyword TIPSLCPD with any information to 274637.
