MILLCREEK — A SWAT team served a narcotic search warrant and arrested a “known gang member” early Thursday morning, police said.
The arrest occurred just after midnight near 4200 S. Highland Drive, according to Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal. Hoyal said police have had an “ongoing narcotics investigation” for an apartment in the area.
The SWAT team served a search warrant and found controlled substances in the apartment, including small amounts of methamphetamines and heroin, Hoyal said.
Timothy Trujillo, 38, was arrested without incident and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of possession with the intent to distribute and an outstanding warrant.
