RIVERTON — Casey Malmborg has a total of 10 surveillance cameras installed inside and outside of his home, just in case anything happens.
"It looks like she actually read who it's to for a second there, grabs it and walks away," Malmborg said as he describes what he saw on one of his surveillance cameras Wednesday afternoon.
"Twelve o'clock it was delivered, by 2 o'clock it was gone," he said.
The surveillance camera shows a woman driving a 4-door car pull up in his drive way, get out of the car, walk up to his porch, grab the package and take off in her car.
"I feel very violated," Malmborg said.
Malmborg was expecting a very special delivery that day for his 2-year-old daughter, Ayzie, who will have her birthday on April 20. Inside the package on his porch was a pink three-wheeled scooter he had ordered for his daughter's birthday.
"She loves those (scooters), so we thought, 'Oh, we'll go ahead and order it so that way we have it,' " he said. "I'm working hard to provide for my family and provide gifts to my daughter, and they're just taking it."
Malmborg turned the video over to the Unified Police Department and filed a report. Unified police officer Justin Hoyal said at this time police have no leads other than the description of the woman from the surveillance video Malmborg provided.
But Ayzie's birthday will not be spoiled. The pink scooter was ordered on Amazon.com, and Malmborg said a spokesperson from Amazon agreed to replace and reship the scooter for free.
