ST. GEORGE — St. George police issued citations at two separate rollover accidents early Thursday morning.
The first accident occurred near 2200 East 1450 South around 2:20 a.m., according to St. George police. A 23-year-old female was traveling eastbound in an F-150 Ford pickup truck when the vehicle drifted off the road, causing it to roll onto its side, police said.
Police believe fatigue was a contributor in the cause of the accident. The woman was uninjured in the accident and was issued a citation for improper lane travel.
The second accident occurred at 270 E. Riverside Drive around 5 a.m., police said. A 47-year-old male was driving a Chevy Blazer northbound on 270 East with a 31-year-old male passenger. The vehicle drifted off the road and rolled, police said.
Both men were transported to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in the cause of the accident. The driver was issued a citation for improper lane travel and driving under the influence.
