THE GALAXY — Stuart Edgington, better known online as Stuart Edge, took to the streets of New York City to re-enact the jaunty dance sequence from the opening credits sequence of “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Outfitted with Star-Lord boots, coat and Walkman, Edge took his killer moves public, attempting to enlist Big Apple tourists and locals alike in his one-man dance party.

As in true New York fashion, some people shied away and were turned off by a lone, exuberant dancer, but some were pleased and joined in the party. Either way it didn't seem to deter Edge from having a rip-roaring good time, especially considering he will only answer to “Star-Lord” when he’s in costume.

Edge tweeted out the video, saying he wanted nothing more than for Chris Pratt, who played Peter Quill/Star-Lord in "Guardians of the Galaxy," to watch the video. Not only did Pratt see it, but he complimented Edge's moves.

"@stuart_edge: Here is my newest video! All I want in life is for @prattprattpratt to watch it. https://t.co/2BvTz4j54e" nice moves Stuart! — chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) January 15, 2015

And to add even more cherries on top of the already delectable sundae, "Gardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn also gave Edge a [shoutout](https://twitter.com/JamesGunn/status/558733027266678784) on Twitter for the video.

Love this guy! @stuart_edgehttps://t.co/KwqbRWM5oH — James Gunn (@JamesGunn) January 23, 2015

Famous for his BYU [Mistletoe Kissing Prank](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iNxHxwT-b4) and many more kissing prank videos (someone help this guy get a date), Edge has been seen all over the country surprising people with song, dance and instant dates, which you can watch on his [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/user/stuartedge/featured). A comedian, singer and magician, his multi-talents have even garnered attention from Jimmy Fallon, who had Edge [on his show](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VN65VBwPDc8) to perform (another) kissing magic trick.

Now that you’ve seen his dance moves, tell us in the comments if you think Edge should head to “Dancing with the Stars” or if he should he enroll in dance lessons.
