FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) - A Utah man charged in a case that spurred lawmakers to revise state law against revenge porn has pleaded guilty to two felony counts of distributing pornographic material.

Shon Handrahan told a judge Tuesday in a Farmington courtroom that he had decided to accept a plea deal offered by prosecutors.

Handrahan is accused of sending nude pictures of his estranged wife to her acquaintances in 2012. In addition to pleading guilty to two felony counts of distributing pornographic material, he also pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of electronic communication harassment. Five other counts were dismissed.

Handrahan declined comment outside court. Davis County prosecutor Nathan Lyon says the victim was supportive of the deal.

Sentencing is set for March 17. Lyon says it remains to be seen if Handrahan will get jail time.
