SALT LAKE CITY — National Signing Day is Feb. 4, and the clock is ticking, with only 12 more days for college football coaches to lock up their 2015 recruiting class. Here's a look at how some in-state prospects are faring.

BYU got some good news from Texas, where the grounds have proven fertile for the Cougars this year. Three-star running back Charles West and Coppell High teammate Scott Huntsman, a linebacker, committed to the Provo school Tuesday.

The Utes also received good news. After picking up commitments from two players from Florida, they received a commitment from California offensive tackle Keven Dixon Jr.

The news isn't all good on the Hill, though. Florida running back Taylor Thomas de-committed from Utah and switched to Oregon State after meeting with Gary Andersen.

Are the Beavers poaching Utah recruits? Thomas may not be the last.

Meanwhile, in Logan, the Aggies picked up a top in-state recruit in Bingham High linebacker Daniel Langi to play for Matt Wells. The all-state player and two-time state champ is the younger brother of BYU linebacker Harvey Langi.
